Microfact-training in Ivory Coast

15/10/2013 13:26

This workshop was held in Abidjan, in Ivory Coast, from September 25th to September 27th, 2013. It is the result of a collaboration between the BRS, ADA and the APSFD-CI (Professional Association of the decentralized financial systems of Ivory Coast). It was financed by ADA Luxemburg.

The Professional Association of the decentralized financial systems of Ivory Coast (APSFD-CI) was created in 1998, following the clauses related to the law number 60-315 of September 21st, 1960, about the creation of the Associations in Ivory Coast Republic.
Composed of Microfinance practitioners, the ASPDF-CI wants to be a representative and defense structure of the public interests of all decentralized financial systems (SFD) of the Ivory Coast. The APSFD-CI considers having the promotion of the responsible decentralized financial systems for main mission, by making tools and adapted services available.

Despite the little number of participants at this workshop, the partakers have thanked for the quality of the training and have committed to “amend and review the way we calculate our ratios”. An article by Cyrille Tanoe, Executiv Director at APSFD, should be published shortly on our website.
